Full 1 Year Limited Warranty
SLMC warrants this bed, to the orginal consumer only, against defectt in
material or workmanship for a period of twleve months from the date of purchase
by the original consumer.SLMC, through its authorized distrubutor/service
organization, will repair or replace, at its option, any bed which evidences,
within the warranty period, a defect in material or workmanship. This warranty
does not include costs for unnecessary service calls, for example, in-home
service calls solely for the purpose of educating the consumer about the
products or finding unsatisfactory power connections.
Limited Warranty - Second through Fifth Year
During the period beginning with the expiration of the full one year warranty
offered above and continuing through the fifth year after the date of orginal
purchase by orginal cosumer, SLMC willwarrant the bed on parts only basis.
If after twelve months, a part needs replacement, the consumer must returnthe
part to SLMC, freight prepaid. SLMC will, at its option , repai r or replace
the defective parts or components. SLMC will return the repaired or replaced
parts to the consumer, freigtht prepaid. SLMC shall not be responsable or
obligated to pay for any costs or expanses for examination removal
and/or installation of any warrantied part or to pay cost of transportation,
handling and packaging of the parts, components or beds to SLMC.
Terms Applicable To Both Warranties
This warranty does not include any damage caused to fabric, electrical cables,
cords or plugs, external or internal finish. This warranty does not apply
to the foundation cover mattress cover whish are warranted under a separate
warranty by the spesific manufacturer. Contact tour dealer for service on
those items. SLMC will, at its option, repair and/or replace the defective
parts and/or components provided that the warrantied parts have not been
subjected to misuse or improper service by the consumer, have not been damaged
in transit or handling and /or have not been altered or repaired by unauthorized
represantatives.This warranty extends to original purchare only.proof of
purchase and copy of original warranty required. If SLMC 's orginal purchaser
(if different from consumer) gives a warranty to their customer which in
any way is different from, modifies or alters the warranty as written above.
SLMC shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages
or for any other damage or loss not containe in this warranty. This warranty
gives you spesific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary
from state to state. This warranty is valid only in the continental United
States an Hawaii and does not include Alaska or any U.S. territories.
Warranty Service Policy
SLMC will only be responsable for repairs as outlined in the appropriate
warranty. Techs will invoice the custome directly for all non-warranty
issues.
Common eaxaples of these non-warranty issues include:
a. Wall outlet has no power, switch is on off position, fuse
is blown , circuit breaker is in of position, etc.
b. To educate the customer on proper operation, of the bed
and did not read operating instructions, etc.
c. Customer fails to keep scheduled appointment and is not
available or able to give access to bed.
d. Product is fully functional, no operating problem is discovered.
e. Any mattress problem. Mattresses are warranted under a separate
warranty issued by the spesific mattress manufacturer.
f. Damaged caused by delievery, freight or installation. This
includes damage to the place of installation, asa wall as any other furniture,
headboards, footboards, frames, etc.
g. Damage due to abuse or misuse.
h. This installation of headboards, footboards or any other
accessory.
i. Weak or low powe batteries.
j. Damage from customer accidents or abuse, i.e. spilling liquid,
dropping, etc.
k. Product under expired warranty.
l. Service calls on non-SLMC products, i.e. products made by
another manufacturer.
Techs will contact the customer within 24 hours of receiving the work order
to schedule an appointment to repair the product. If the tech cannot connact
the customer, the Tech must notify SLMC immediately.
SLMC will follow-up with a sampling of customers to determine if they are
satisfied with the quality of repair and the professionalism of the Techs.
This is done to close the warranty work order and provide valuable feedback
for both SLMC and the Techs.
